Unterseeboot 29

Unterseeboot 29 or U-29 has been the name of several German submarines or U-boats during the First World War, the Second World War and in the post-war Bundesmarine.

  • Unterseeboot 29 (1913) was a submarine built in 1913 for service in the First World War, and sunk in 1915.
    • During the First World War, Germany also possessed the submarines:
      • Unterseeboot B-29, built in 1916 and sunk in 1918.
      • Unterseeboot C-29, built in 1916 and sunk in 1917.
  • Unterseeboot 29 (1936) was a submarine built in 1936, and scuttled in 1945 during the last days of the Second World War.
  • Unterseeboot 28 (S178) was a submarine built in 1974, and decommisioned in 2004.
