Unterseeboot 20

Unterseeboot 20 or U-20 has been the name of several German submarines or U-boats during the First World War, the Second World War and in the post-war Bundesmarine.

  • Unterseeboot 20 (1912) was a submarine built in 1912 for service in the First World War, and grounded and blown up in 1916. This U-Boat sunk the passenger ship Lusitania.
    • During the First World War, Germany also possessed the submarines:
      • Unterseeboot B-20, built in 1916 and sunk in 1917.
      • Unterseeboot C-20, built in 1916 and surrendered in 1919.
