Unterseeboot 15 (also known as U-15) was a German U-boat which was commissioned in March 7, 1936 following construction as a IIB U-boat at the Deutsche Werke shipyards at Kiel. First commander on board was Werner von Schmidt. In its career it completed 5 patrols, all serving under 1. Unterseebootflottille. It succedded in sinking 3 ships.

On January 30, 1940 U-15was sunk in the North Sea at Hoofden, after being rammed by accident by the German torpedo boat Iltis. 25 dead and no survivors.
