Unsportsmanlike Conduct is a penalized action in the sport of ice hockey where a player has deemed to cross the threshold of good or fair behavior at the discretion of the referee. This results in the offending player being assessed a 2 minute minor penalty. Some examples of this would be snowing the goaltender, using illegal or dangerous equipment, and cursing.
