This stub is unlikely to ever be expanded into a full article. The twisted pair article however is pretty short and could use some more content. I believe a merging of this article into that article would be appropriate. N. Harmon 01:26, 28 May 2006 (UTC)

Honestly, I'm thinking that it should probably be deleted and have UTP and Unshielded twisted pair redirect to twisted pair. The only thing that this article contains that isn't in twisted pair is the part about Ethernet not being reliable, which seems like an odd thing to throw into a 5 sentence blurb about UTP. Besides, I'm not really sure that there is all that much to say about UTP that doesn't describe all twisted-pair cable (tho i could be wrong). Messiahxi 22:37, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
