  • Don't Remember/ No Control The correct name of the song is unknown, as it appears to go by both, depending on the source. It is most likely titled 'Don't Remember' as this was the title when Durst himself posted the song on his MySpace.
  • Prop the DJ Some versions of the song leaked to the internet claim it features Les Claypool, but when examined, it's clear Fred Durst did the vocals in the song.
  • Turn Me Loose Featuring Eminem. When this song didn't make it onto Significant Other, Eminem used part of his verse in the song 'Who Knew' on The Marshall Mathers LP.
  • Hell of a Band featuring Les Claypool.
  • Instrumental An unnamed instrumental track for which vocals were never recorded, but it still managed to find its way onto the demo version of the album. The song later became I'm Broke from the album.
  • Don't Go Off Wandering The demo version of the song, recorded with Serj Tankian from System of a Down.

[edit] Chocolate Starfish Recording Sessions

  • Back O Da Bus an interlude that was only found on the My Generation single. Also found on Chocolate Starfish And The Hot Dog Flavored Water Bonus CD
  • Crushed a song that was released on the End of Days soundtrack. Also found on Chocolate Starfish And The Hot Dog Flavored Water Bonus CD
  • Snake in Your Face Apparently a joke song that parodies rap groups. The song features a fictional rap group known as 'The Cobras' with their star rapper 'Snake' and 'DJ Venom'. While uncredited, it appears that Wes Borland does vocals on this song, a rare occurrence. It was also on the My Generation single.

[edit] Results May Vary Recording Sessions

Some of these songs are also known as the 'Off the Record' tracks.

  1. Armpit This song is a remake of one of the band's first songs from Mental Aquaducts.
  2. Cowgirls From Hell The name is a take on Pantera's 'Cowboys from Hell'. Fred Durst has stated that he hates the vocals on this song.
  3. Chains
  4. Crack Addict A song written with both Fred and Brian 'Head' Welch of Korn playing guitar. It was supposed to be part of Results May Vary, but never made the final cut. It was played live once at WrestleMania XIX, and served as the show's theme song. WWE announcers mislabeled the song as "Toe to Toe" during plugs for the PPV. It was shortly after available for purchase on Pepsi's official store, where you could collect "Pepsi Points" and trade them in for exclusive songs from rock bands.
  5. Fool's Game This song appeared on Limp Bizkit's myspace page January 12th, 2007. Apparently, this is another scrapped song from the RMV era or the "Off The Record" album if you will.
  6. Just Drop Dead This song was leaked supposedly in retaliation to the comments Britney Spears made about Fred Durst, but Fred has stated the song itself has nothing to do with her. The song also ended up on the 'Eat You Alive' single, in a slightly altered version than the leaked one.
  7. Lean On Me was eventually released on Greatest Hitz
  8. Let It Go Along with Armpit, it was actually available as a bonus tracks on Results May Vary in certain countries, but these versions were not widespread. While not a cover per se, this song borrows from the Pegboy song 'Never a Question'.
  9. Masturbation There are also 2 known versions of this song. A leaked version, and the one that Fred Durst posted on MySpace. When it was leaked on myspace it was spelled "Masterbation".
  10. Need This song, along with Chains, were seen on MTV's Album Launch on a tracklist along with Just Drop Dead and Armpit. Aside from seeing the names, there is no knowledge of these two tracks whatsoever. In fact, it's possible they could be demo names for other songs, though it's not clear what songs those would be.
  11. No New Tale to Tell A Love and Rockets cover that was recorded but never released.
  12. Poison Ivy
  13. Pollution Recall An instrumental of this song was leaked before the release of Results May Vary, the lyrical version was leaked on Limp Bizkit's myspace media player January 13th, 2007.
  14. Press Your Luck The working title for this song was 'Pollution Recall'.
  15. Rebels A song Fred and DJ Lethal did with Jay-Z.
  16. Relentless An instrumental of this song was leaked before the release of Results May Vary, but the full song was not heard until Fred posted it on MySpace.
  17. Shot This song was released on the 'Eat You Alive' single.
  18. Total Eclipse of the Heart A cover song that was recorded but never released. Originally written, composed, and produced by Jim Steinman, it was originally performed by Bonnie Tyler in 1983.
  19. Until The End A song Fred Durst wrote for his son, Dallas. Durst actually performs a guitar solo in the song.
  20. Welcome Home (Sanitarium) A cover of the Metallica song of the same name. It was played live at MTV Icon as a tribute to the band, and according to John Otto, was also recorded, but was never released.
  21. When It Rains Chris Vrenna did some programming on the version that was released.
  22. Why was eventually released on Greatest Hitz
  23. You Know You're Right Recorded during the RMV sessions, this is a cover of the Nirvana song which was released in 2002. Limp Bizkit was noted for playing this song in concert from time to time and there is even a video of them in the studio recording this song available on youtube. Limp Bizkit worked on several covers during this recording session, but this song has been locked away in the vault awaying Fred Durst's release.

NOTE: The band initially reported that 29 songs were made for the album Results May Vary, though this was later proven false, as more songs created during these recording sessions began to appear. Durst continues to post songs on the band's MySpace claiming they were done during this time period, so it is impossible to tell how many songs were actually created.

[edit] Live Songs

Note: Only significant cover songs that were recorded during live performances are listed here, as Limp Bizkit has done countless covers during live shows.

  • Outside a Staind song which Fred Durst has performed only twice, with lead singer Aaron Lewis. It was available on the Family Values Tour 1999 CD.
  • Wish You Were Here Pink Floyd song that was covered during the live broadcast of America: A Tribute to Heroes. It was performed by Fred Durst, Wes Borland, and Goo Goo Dolls' Johnny Rzeznik. Some new lyrics were added due to the occasion.
  • I Would For You Jane's Addiction cover that was performed many times in honour of the fans. It was also released on the Rollin' single.
  • Jane Says Jane's Addiction cover.
  • You Know You're Right Nirvana cover that was apparently recorded, but never released. It has been played live several times.
  • Nevermind An original song with Fred Durst playing guitar. It was played mostly during the Results May Vary tour.
  • Cambodia An early combined version of 'Trust' and 'Show Me What You Got' with different vocals.
  • 9Teen90Nine Cover from Prince, though the lyrics are oddly different between the two songs.

[edit] Other Unreleased Songs

  • The Unquestionable Truth Intro An intro that was recorded for The Unquestionable Truth that did not appear on the album itself. It did play on the band's website during the album's release, and the audio was actually hidden on the album in .flv format (unintentionally).
  • Lay it on back A Kurupt song featuring a verse with Fred Durst.
  • Human Pinata A Videodrone song featuring Fred Durst.

  • Say Something Sayable An interlude Fred created on October 11, 2006.
  • Relax The last song the band did with Wes Borland before he left in 2001. It was meant to be released on the Zoolander soundtrack, but due to Wes leaving, was not. The lyrics in the song were later used for the song 'Creamer' on Results May Vary.
  • Break Stuff (Wes Borland Remix) This song was meant to be a part of the remix album New Old Songs, but when Wes Borland quit the band, it was taken off the album. It has never been released.[1]
  • Rib An instrumental song apparently written during the 'The Unquestionable Truth' recording sessions. The band never did anything with it, so John Otto posted it for fans to hear on his MySpace.
