[edit] Plot

As the Earth Team flees their temple in the Whizzing Arrow, they notice another temple that is still standing. There they rest and Eva despairs about the loss of Aikka and how all this disaster is her fault. Aikka, however is alive and finds her. He tells her about how he met Satis just before he died, telling him about Canaletto being free and how she is the only one who can stop him now. Aikka, Eva and Jordan leave for the Temple of the Heart in order to use the pyramid there to crown her as the Avatar. Before they leave, Don Wei shouts "Eva." He tells her he loves her and tells them to look after his daughter. Jordan doesn't know what to call her now: Molly, Eva or Your Magnificence. On their way there, they encounter Ō, who flies behind them to the temple.

Eva and Aikka land, but then Ō screeches and the temple's two statues come to life: one pure black with red lines and the other pure white with red lines. Jordan thinks that Ō has betrayed them, but he hasn't. After dodging the statues' attacks for a while, Eva heads towards the temple. Aikka still battles the black statue until Ō transforms and intervines. Aikka, Eva and Jordan reach the temple, but Ō is killed, destroying the statues in the process. "I guess Ō was a good guy after all," Jordan says. Aikka realizes the implications of Jordan's remark: "That must mean Canaletto's here; he's waiting for us." They walk into the temple.
