Hmm. I'm curious if the soundtrack was changed for the U.S. release. Amazon has a Danny the Dog soundtrack [1] by Massive Attack, but it makes no mention of RZA. —Mulad (talk) 05:42, May 20, 2005 (UTC)

  • Heh, and now I go and find the Unleashed soundtrack [2] a few seconds later. Two more tracks to that one. But I'm still curious if music in the movie itself was added/changed... —Mulad (talk) 05:45, May 20, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Naming

Where in the world is this movie called Danny the Dog if its US/UK/Australia title is Unleashed? --Abdull 12:11, 26 November 2005 (UTC)

Exactly, I was wondering that. I once heard a Korean friend call this film "The Dog" (translated from Korean) but I have never heard it referred to as Danny the Dog...? --El Zilcho 15:02, 29 January 2006 (UTC)

I'm not sure about the other countries. But in the US it was released as Unleashed. I work at a theater, and i looked up our companies release list and it was released as Unleashed across the nation. At least for Cinemark Theaters.-

  • Yea if its different in other parts of the world they generally dont speak English. Dont use translated names use the name it was released under as in America where the bulk of english wikipedians are. Hm how do you move articles? Zach 05:18, 21 June 2006 (UTC).
  • I've moved the article..Zach 00:32, 28 June 2006 (UTC)

its UNLEASHED not UNLEASED. please fix. Catherine breillat 13:27, 28 June 2006 (UTC)

The French Wikipedia has it as Danny the Dog (and it is a French film, after all), IMDB mentions Hong Kong. IMDb implies that "Unleashed" was the title of the DVD in the UK as if DtD was the title used theatrically. Anyone from the UK recall ? -- Beardo 13:51, 24 September 2006 (UTC)

Its a French film?...That does make sense having seen it, it certainly does seem to be in the French style but...mostly not. Strange. But anyway. In the UK it was definatly always Unleashed.--Josquius 19:13, 1 October 2006 (UTC)

Luc Besson and Louis Leterrier are French, although it was shot in Scotland and most of the cast are English. IMDb calls it French / USA / UK. -- Beardo 22:37, 1 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Deletion

Yes yes i just mispelled it when i moved it, and when i tried to move to real article i found it to be a redirect to the page i moved it from DeleteZach 19:36, 29 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Requested move

In order to get this in the right place it seems we have to go through a formal move request Talk:Unleased (film) to Talk:Unleashed (film). -- Beardo 22:42, 1 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Philosophy

I don't know if anyone else thinks this, but the film seems to also be a vehicle for philosophy - namely that while Jet Li's character is fighting, he is caged and less than human, but when he is free, he can live up to his artistic potential and does not need to fight.
