Unklejam is a UK band formed by Tyson Speede, Bobby Joel Stearns and Adonistar. Their name is taken from Funkadelic’s 1979 album Uncle Jam Wants You. Among their influences are P-funk, Prince and Sly and the Family Stone. They are signed to Virgin Records. Their first single Love Ya has been played on BBC by Trevor Nelson and Annie Mac and was also performed live on Popworld on Channel 4 recently. The video for the song has been directed by Paul Gore. They are to release "What Am I Fighting For?" as the next single.
