University of hawaii marching band

University of Hawaii Rainbow Warrior Marching Band, established in 1923, has played an ongoing and significant role in the University of Hawaii athletic events and other campus activities. The only university marching band in the state of Hawaii and the biggest student organization on campus performs pregame and halftime at all the school's home football games, including bowl games, as well as pep band at home games for basketball and volleyball. The band has been said to be one of the premiere university marching bands in the nation being heard on national television numerous times and heard amongst the huge crowds of home and visiting fans at Aloha Stadium.

- The UH marching band consists of over 250 members
- Currently under the direction of Mr. Brandt A. Payne
- Considered a one credit graded course at the University of Hawaii at Manoa
- Students enrolled receive a tuition waiver
- Mandatory rehearsals run on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 3:45PM to 5:15PM
- Recently played at the 2006 Sheraton Hawaii Bowl
