University of Wisconsin-Madison Steam Tunnel System
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The steam tunnel system of the University of Wisconsin-Madison carries heat in the form of hot steam to campus buildings from two plants; one on Charter Street and an additional one on Walnut Street. It provides access to the basements of some campus buildings; however, nearly all access hatches are locked.
