University of Surrey Gliding Club

The objective of University of Surrey Gliding Club is for students and staff of the University of Surrey to learn and enjoy the sport of gliding. The club owns a glider, ASK-21 (comp number 431), which was partly owned by the Esso gliding club until recently when the University of Surrey Gliding Club bought the whole share. The club operates at Lasham Airfield, near Alton, Hampshire.
As of 2007, the club captain is Michael Farrow and the club treasurer is Jonathan Ross.
