University of Northampton Hockey Club Re-Founded in 2005 after the University College Northampton became the University of Northampton, it is not known the exact date of its original formation but evidence place it in 1975 with the foundation of a teacher training college called Nene College.
The team is most famous for it European record including the recent runners-up place in the Student European Championship, (Calella plate).
Prominent former captains include Lewis Done and Andrew Harris
