University of Nebraska-Lincoln Independent Study High School

University of Nebraska-Lincoln Independent Study High School is an institution operated by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln which offers distance education high school courses. Under Nebraska law, it is classified as a school district.
It was established in 1929 and as of 2006 offers over 105 courses in 16 subjects. Courses are provided in print, over the Internet, and on CD-ROM.
The school is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCACASI), and the Nebraska Department of Education.
