The University of Computer Studies, Yangon (
) is a university located in Shwe Pyi Thar, Yangon, Myanmar, which had moved from Hlaing Campus. Its former name is ICST (Institude of Computer Science and Technology). There are currently bachelor, master, and doctorate programs, as well as diploma courses. To get a place at the university, students have to be at least 370 marks at BEHS exam. But many of its students get over 400 because there are not many prestigious colleges in Myanmar other than medical colleges and technological institutes.
Originated from UCC (Universities' Computer Center) in 1971, on her original location next to Yangon University Hlaing Campus. In 1988 March, Institute of Computer Science and Technolgoy (ICST), and offering Diploma, Bechalor Degree studies.
