The University of Berkley is an unaccredited online distance education university. According to its website, it was originally founded in Berkley, Michigan and is affiliated with the Society of God and Pantheistic Philosophy.

It had been operating in Erie County, Pennsylvania in 2005, when a judge issued a preliminary injunction that temporarily closed the university. [1] [2] The judge ultimately ruled that the university could continue to operate with the condition that it not do business with residents of Pennsylvania [3].
