University Katolik Parahyangan or UNPAR, is a private university in Bandung, Indonesia.

An Parahyangan School of Commerce was established on January 17, 1955 in Bandung by the bishop of Bandung, Mgr. P.M. Arntz, OSC and the bishop of Bogor, Mgr. Prof. Dr. N.J.C. Geise, OFM. This school is now recognized as Faculty of Economy of Unpar.

In 1958, Parahyangan School was renamed to Parahayangan Catholic University. At the same time, a new faculty was set up, i.e., the Faculty of Law. After it, more faculties were opened; Faculty of Engineering in 1960, Faculty of Social and Politic in 1961, Faculty of Philosophy in 1983, Faculty of Industrial Technology and Faculty of Mathematic and Natural Science, both in 1993.
