From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Federal Technologic University of Paraná (Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná) is a public university in Brazil. It was the first Federal Tecnologic University in Brazil. In October 7 of 2005, the president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva sanctioned the project of transforming the CEFET-PR, a center for technical education that existed since 1909, into an University. UTFPR also acts as a technic highschool (the best of Paraná, according to ENEM). The University has six campuses through Paraná.
