The University of the Andes (Uandes) is a Catholic university located in Santiago, Chile. The university is particularly known for its MBA program at its graduate business school, ESE Business School, but it also many other degrees(Click here for more information on the university's degree programs).

It was founded on september 8, 1989 as a corporate work of the apostolate of Opus Dei.

In 1990 the law faculty began it classes. Then, in 1991, the university opened its medicine faculty, becoming the first chilean private university to do it. Nowadays its medicine faculty is within the three best in chile, which has been proved for its National Medical Exam Results the last five years.
