Universal Parks & Resorts

Universal Parks and Resorts is the theme park division of Universal Studios, which is owned by NBC Universal, itself a subsidiary of General Electric.
It was founded in 1990 with the opening of Universal Studios Orlando, which is now one of two parks in the Universal Orlando resort in Orlando, Florida. Universal then opened Universal Studios Hollywood in Universal City (which is named after the actual Universal Studios) in Los Angeles, California.
