Universal Image Format

Universal Image Format (UIF) is a 2002 IETF standard for raster graphics designed for internet faxing and other uses.[1] It uses a MIME type of image/tiff-fx
which is defined in RFC 2301.
Other Uses
- UIF is also a proprietary file format associated with WordPerfect for Windows.
- UIF is also a proprietary file format for compressed disk images by MagicISO.[2]
