United States Office of Research Integrity

The Office of Research Integrity (ORI) is one of the bodies concerned with research integrity in the United States. It was created when the Office of Scientific Integrity (OSI) and the Office of Scientific Integrity Review (OSIR) merged in May 1992.

The ORI writes policies and regulations to prevent and detect scientific misconduct, offers related education, and investigates cases of scientific misconduct in biomedical and behavioral research supported by the United States Public Health Service. It regularly publishes its findings.

The ORI is an agency of the Office of Public Health and Science.
