The United States House election, 1844 was an election in 1844 in which all 227 members of the United States House of Representatives were elected and who took their seats in March 1845. It coincided with the Presidential election of 1844.

Darkhorse candidate James K. Polk, a Democrat, won the White House in 1844, but his party lost several seats. However, they kept their large majority. The American Party, based on anti-immigration and anti-Catholic feelings, also picked up its first seats in Congress.
