United States House Energy Subcommittee on Health

The U.S. House Energy Subcommittee on Health is a subcommittee within the House Commitee on Energy and Commerce.

[edit] Jurisdiction

The House Subcommittee on Health has general jurisdiction over bills and resolutions relating to issues within the scope of the Subcommittee's jurisdiction, and has oversight responsibilities over agencies, programs and activities that fall within its jurisdiction which is defined by the House Rules, and can recommend funding appropriations for governmental agencies, programs, and activities that fall within its jurisdiction. As a Standing Subcommittee of the House Energy Committee it holds regular meetings and peforms any functions assigned to it by the House Energy Committee's rules in addition to those assigned to it by the House Rules.
