United Nations Handicap

The United Nations Handicap is a race for thoroughbred horsesrun each year at Monmouth Park in Oceanport, New Jersey. The race is for horses, age three and up, going one and three-eighths miles on the turf. A Grade I event, it offers a purse of $250,000 and is an influential prep for the Breeders' Cup Turf.
Many grass champions have won the United Nations, including Fort Marcy in 1970, Dr. Fager in 1968, and Round Table in 1957 & 1959.
