United was the first of three albums by Motown soul music duo Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell. Released in 1967, the album yielded four Top 40 hits, including the two Top 10 singles "Your Precious Love" and "If I Could Build My Whole World Around You". Also included is what is today considered Gaye and Terrell's most notable duet record, "Ain't No Mountain High Enough". United peaked at #69 on the Billboard pop album charts and #7 on the R&B album charts upon its release.
