Unitarian Universalists for Jewish Awareness

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Unitarian Universalists for Jewish Awareness (UUJA) is an independent affiliate of the Unitarian Universalist Association which helps educate people about Judaism and the influence it has had and can continue to have in shaping the development of Unitarian Universalism. The organization has arisen in response to the needs of the estimated 10% of Unitarians who come from Jewish backgrounds, including interfaith couples and families, but also serves religious professionals and others who express interest in issues, stories, heritage, and resources concerning the Jewish-Unitarian relationship. The UUJA journal, The Burning Bush, appears quarterly.
