Union of Liberals and Leftists (Icelandic: Samtök frjálslyndra og vinstri manna) was a left political party in Iceland, founded by Hannibal Valdimarsson and his supporters in 1969. Joined Ólafur Jóhannesson's first government in 1971-1974, with two ministers. Was against American base in Iceland. Later President of Iceland Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson was member of this party together with later Foreign Affair minister Jón Baldvin Hannibalsson.
