Union Township, Lawrence County, Ohio

Union Township is one of the fourteen townships of Lawrence County, Ohio, United States. It has a population of 9,002.[1] It is one of the twenty-seven Union Townships in Ohio.
It borders the following townships:
- Fayette Township - west
- Lawrence Township - northwest corner
- Windsor Township - north
- Rome Township - east
To the south, Union Township borders West Virginia across the Ohio River. It is located upstream of most of the rest of Lawrence County's Ohio River townships.
Two villages are located along the shoreline of Union Township: Proctorville far upstream, and Chesapeake in the center.
