I think we should coin a new term: Greifstock. As with Oxford and Cambridge, there is a similar rivalry between the University of Rostock and the Ernst Moritz Arndt University of Greifswald, both of them being in the same state and looking for government money *lol*. Sky 12:08, 6 Jul 2004 (UTC)

I note that this article still needs proper translation, if anyone else has time for this ... help! Also the claim about "oldest university in Northern Europe" presumably excludes Scotland as being in Northern Europe?!? mervyn 15:44, 15 January 2006 (UTC)
