[edit] USPHS vs PHSCC?
- I'll admit, I'm confused. :) There seems to be overlap between United States Public Health Service and Public Health Service Commissioned Corps. I thought the PHSCC was the "uniformed" part and the PHS is the "regular government agency who wear ties part". I'm going to start the research squirrels working on this, digging thru the government websites. PHS Historian, the domain says USPHS, but the site says PHSCC, Dept of HHS, and the US Code. — MrDolomite | Talk 02:13, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Intro paragraph needs work
The first paragraph is too history-focused. It should ideally state briefly what are the CURRENT responsibilities of the USPHS and maybe mention history briefly. 209.150.255.133 14:45, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
