This category needs a better definition/description, and a better title that confines it to its specific field. Seeing this on a page, I thought it was misguided category for multiplying and cancelling SI units. -- Centrx 22:08, 4 June 2006 (UTC)

Unit Operations is a standard term in Process/Chemical Engineering - There cannot really be an alternative title except perhaps to add "Chemical Engineering" as the domain/field. 41.204.42.229 15:48, 7 August 2006 (UTC)N Asante

This is definitely true. Unit operations is defined as the set of individual operations that makes up a chemical plant. This is the only term used in this context. Wsloand 16:40, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

As one who was a practicing chemical engineer for over 50 years, I agree that this is a well-known standard term used worldwide by anyone familiar with chemical engineering. I think that User:Centrx may have been a bit hasty in unilaterally tagging this category as "Needing attention".- mbeychok 06:14, 6 October 2006 (UTC)

I think there is a clear consensus from the above comments that the "Needing attention" tag is not warranted so I am taking the bold action of deleting it. mbeychok 20:18, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
