Underground hip hop

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Underground hip hop is a term usually used to define rappers who have never or choose not to meet mainstream music standards. Most underground rappers tend to usually make their lyrics revolve around subjects that are considered more intellectual or profound then most rap music. Contrary to Gangsta rap, underground hip hop rappers don't make their music focus on sex, women, and drugs.
