Under the Radar is soul artist Taylor Hicks' second album. Because Hicks was not under a recording contract for either this or his previous album, In Your Time, he still qualified to compete on the fifth season of the hit reality television show American Idol , which he eventually won. The songs "The Deal", "Soul Thing" and "Hell of a Day" were re-recorded for Hicks' major label debut, Taylor Hicks.
As of August 2006, the album has sold 17,000 copies, available only through Laser's Edge Compact Discs in Birmingham, Alabama.
