somebody needs to tell me something and be honest. in honesty, i'm not an underoath fan but the determination of what underoath is musically keeps ringing in my head. at first, i said i'll go with the underoath when dallas taylor was the vocalist at the time and they were metal. now since spencer chamberlain joined the band they have become more emo-ish and more screamo and abandoned their metal past. and just the other day, i heard the song "everyone looks so good from here" from the "define the gret line" album on my Metal = Life DVD and it sounded metal because of spencer's death metal-like vocals. Seriously somebody needs to tell me something and help me make the right decision on which underoath i should go with. thanx.

[edit] You can just listen to both

Underoath are not emo influenced band. I wouldn't consider praising God to be something emo. They just got lighter since Spencer joined and Spencer's screaming resembled a more Screamo sound however the band is still a Metalcore/ Hardcore band. Because TOCS sounds more like screamo although I don't think it had much emo influenced lyrics it attracted some emo fan base which is fine, I guess. They're Only Chasing Safety was they're only fluke. They didn't even like that album. Define The Great Line is a little bit harder since that's what they really wanted to go for. I wouldn't see anything wrong with listening to all of Underoath's music. I think all their stuff is good. I think they're still considered Metalcore. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 64.169.83.227 (talk) 16:55, 30 March 2007 (UTC).
