Uncle Fucka

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Uncle Fucka is a song in the movie South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut. The fictional Canadian characters Terrance and Phillip sing the hit song Uncle Fucka in their movie, Asses of Fire. The song uses the word "fuck" more than twenty times, which outrages Kyle's mother with its vulgarity. She starts an organization, Mothers Against Canada, which leads to war between the United States and Canada, precipitating the return of Satan and Saddam Hussein to Earth.

[edit] Awards

  • The scene where the song Uncle Fucka is played in the movie won an MTV Movie Award for "Best Musical Performance".

[edit] Trivia

  • The last line of the song ("U-N-C-L-E, fuck you! Uncle fucka!") spoofs the end of Oklahoma!'s title song ("O-K-L-A-H-O-M-A! Oklahoma!").
  • The original title of the song was "Mutha Fucka", but it was changed to "Uncle Fucka" to earn an R rating instead of an NC-17 rating by the MPAA.[citation needed] However, when in foreign languages, it does not always translate to "Uncle Fucka."[citation needed]
  • The Japanese version of this song is interestingly a partial transliteration of the original song as opposed to translation (Using the English words Uncle Fucker transliterated as Anku Fakaa, and ending the song with O-M-E-K-O FUCK YOU (Faku-yu) ANKU FAKAA). This presents a lyrical style similar to those of Japanese Pop and Rock artists who mix English with Japanese. The same goes for all other songs in the Japanese version.
