The Umba Valley is a geographic area of Tanzania – a country located on the east coast of the African continent – and the world's only source of Umba sapphires.

The Umba River flows through the Umba Valley.

Specifically, Umba Valley is located in the Lelatema Mountains in the Arusha Region of Tanzania.
