AFAIK, Umber Hulks never had a breath weapon, and their confusion ability was always yied to their gaze.

This was most certianly the case in the 1st and 2nd edition Monster Manuals. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 60.224.45.127 (talk • contribs).

I checked, and in the Umber Hulk entry on page 98 of the first edition Monster Manual, there is no mention whatsoever of breath weapons. MasterGrazzt 00:06, 31 January 2006 (UTC)
