Talk:UM

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This appears to have been simply copied from the U of M disambiguation page, after which a tiny number of additional links were added. No one calls the University of Minnesota "UM". It is very frequently called "the U of M", as is the University of Michigan (and as are more than a dozen others). Michigan does use the "UM" abbreviation. I came to this article after reading about the "University of Minnesota Biocatalysis/Biodegradation Database", short UM-BBD. So some people at the university itself use the abbreviation, and therefore this "U of M" should also be mentionned here. Futhermore, I fail to see how this rather minor issue justifies the accurayccy tag on top of the page. Note: I meant to add this comment some days ago (at the time of my edit of the actual page), but somehow it got lost, which I noticed only now. My apologies.--a.bit 10:31, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

What about when people are loading information from their brain, and they use it as filler?ZakTek 00:41, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
