[edit] Welcome from Redwolf24

Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. We as a community are glad to have you and thank you for creating a user account! Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Yes some of the links appear a bit boring at first, but they are VERY helpful if you ever take the time to read them.

Remember to place any articles you create into a category so we don't get orphans.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, please be sure to sign your name on Talk and vote pages using four tildes (~~~~) to produce your name and the current date, or three tildes (~~~) for just your name. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome.

P.S. I like messages :-P

[edit] Killer Frost

I'll be darned. I check my 'to do' list only to find out this is no longer a redlink! A great article, keep up the good work! :) --InShaneee 09:12, 12 November 2005 (UTC)

Thanks for bolding Deathbolt's given name. I forgot that was part of the WikiComics template.--De 15:51, 1 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Request for edit summary

Hi. I am a bot, and I am writing to you with a request. I would like to ask you, if possible, to use edit summaries a bit more often when you contribute. The reason an edit summary is important is because it allows your fellow contributors to understand what you changed; you can think of it as the "Subject:" line in an email. For your information, your current edit summary usage is 1% for major edits and 1% for minor edits. (Based on the last 150 major and 150 minor edits outside the Wikipedia, User, Image, and all Talk namespaces.)

This is just a suggestion, and I hope that I did not appear inpolite. You do not need to reply to this message, but if you would like to give me feedback, you can do so at the feedback page. Thank you, and happy edits, Mathbot 03:30, 16 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] TMNT (2003) Edits

Hey, thanks for expanding the trivia section of the TMNT (2003) episode pages, but I'm looking for some uniformity. Should we label episodes with:

  • This episode marks the first appearance of...
or
  • This is the first appearance of...

I really don't know which one I should go with, but thanks for the help. If you'd like to do any plot synopses, I definitely won't mind. :)

[edit] Brick (Comics)

Thanks for the feedback. I couldn't find the relevant issues so had to expand it from memory. Also Thanks for fixing Dr Alchemy (my PC died mid-edit). Palendrom 20:53, 9 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Categories XX of Oz

Please do not re-add those categories to articles. They were deleted after a discussion on the may 9th WP:CFD. Thanks! Syrthiss 21:35, 21 May 2006 (UTC)

Please refrain from adding nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to Harry Hamlin. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. Geneb1955Talk/CVU 06:22, 24 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Hi

What's your position about the Animated Series Batman? You are totally invited to keep editing, btw.--T-man, the wise 11:02, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks

Hi, I just noticed your RC on the Tron article and wanted to thank you for improving WP. I saw that you highlighted a link, and I did the same for ENCOM. It looks like ENCOM could easily be merged into the main Tron article since it's just 2 short paragraphs. If I understand things correctly, this would preserve all the info, while helping to streamline WP. What do you think? I've tagged your page on my watchlist, so just reply here. Happy Editing :) Doc Tropics 07:34, 15 June 2006 (UTC)

OOPS! I meant the Sark article, NOT the page at Tron. (sheepish grin) Sorry 'bout the confusion. Doc Tropics 07:42, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
Dang! that still didn't come out right. I was trying to refer to the Sark (Tron) article that you recently edited.

[edit] Do you know JD too?

Just wondering. |vent|rant|rave|bitch| 19:45, 25 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] baby Helena

I took her off the Huntress page since she's neither Helena Wayne (that we know of) nor is she Huntress. A one line/link mention of her may be appropriate under Helena Wayne, but frankly it's all spec at this point and doesn't add anything to Huntress artucle. yet. This may be proven differently, but we don't know. -- Ipstenu (talk|contribs) 01:28, 29 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Help Appreciated

[edit] Gift

I filled the info for Read My Lips (Batman: The Animated Series)... Can you format it for me?

Also have you seen the DCAU infoboxes I've been putting in all DCAU appearing characters? What are your thoughts on that? Would you like to modify the design in some way?

I've been following your work, it's really impressive. I totally salute you!!--The Judge 11:09, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] List of characters appearing in Batman: The Animated Series

Hi, I was working on List of characters appearing in Batman: The Animated Series, but the reversals user covenantd made don't aloud me to continue anymore. He was right about something thoug, the article is too long. Maybe Batman, the Joker and Harley could have "sub"articles, and the artice could be splitted in supporting ast and villains. But over all the info need serious shapping, and formating, specially because the article was copypasted from several others. Thanks beforehand. By the way, I loved the way you worked your magic on "Read my lips"!! thanks a bunch.--The Judge 01:03, 10 September 2006 (UTC)

  • Check the page, Shredderman has been modifying it. He appears to be a rookie. Your talents would be appreciated there.
  • ALSO: would you mind if I copy the paragraphs at the top of your user page? I also grew up with B:TAS... Actually with the re-runs on the Warner Channel, I born when the series was starting to air on Fox, but it's kinda the same, actually I learned English using the SAP option once I hnew the episodes almos from memory. But I've been a Bruce Timm fan ever since. --The Judge 19:34, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
    • I gues The Penguin is one of your favorite villains, mine too. hahahah--The Judge 22:01, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
    • Finished season 0ne. Only 27 to go! Go, Team Venture!!--The Judge 22:23, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
The link above doesn't seem to work. :( --164.107.92.120 13:24, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
Also, I added the above link to the Batman the Animated series article in case if you meant to get it started, but hadn't yet, as the link should belong there. In any case, great idea, I look forward to seeing the finished result! --164.107.92.120 17:21, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] re: Category:Date of birth missing

Good evening. Per the discussion about privacy concerns expressed at Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons#Privacy of birthdays, date of birth should generally not be added to the biographies of living non-public or semi-public figures. So far, that policy has been interpreted fairly strictly with a pretty high bar being set for the definition of "public figures" who are assumed to have given up their rights to privacy.

By the same token, we should not be adding Category:Date of birth missing to articles unless we have made the case that the person meets the "public figures" threshold. Otherwise, we're just baiting new users into adding content even though the community has already said that we shouldn't include that particular data point. Category:Year of birth missing is okay but the exact date is often not. Thanks for your help. Rossami (talk) 05:35, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Edit summaries

I see that you have received several messages in the past asking you to provide summaries for your edits. This is very important as it allows other users to see at a glance what has been changed. As well, it helps to mark edits as minor when you preform basic copy edits and wikifying. Please try to do this in future, and thank you for your contributions to date. --INTRIGUEBLUE (talk|contribs) 07:09, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
