UltraVNC is an open source application for the Microsoft Windows operating system that uses the VNC protocol to control another computer's screen remotely. It supports an encryption plugin to secure the client/server connection. It also supports file transfers. The software is free and distributed under the terms of the GNU General Public License.
UltraVNC is developed in C, C++ and Java. Its latest release was 1.0.2, at July 1st, 2006 (as of February 2007).
