Merge with Captain America, it is just another interpretation of the same character--Apollonaire1980

Don't merge this. The characters are different and merit their own articles.--GingerM 15:29, 18 July 2005 (UTC)

Merge all Ultimate versions into their original versions' articles, unless these become to big. The more information is kept in one big article, instead of lots of smaller scattered ones, the better. Someone might look up Captain America to find about it, but the only people who know about the Ultimate versions are hardcore comic book fans who are familiar with the concept of rebooted continuity and various iterations of the same character. --Pc13 21:02, July 18, 2005 (UTC)

This debate is at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Comics#Ultimates' Naming. Please refrain from debating policy on these individual pages unless they are exceptional. Brownshoes, you seem to be opposing the merge on every single page of ultimates characters. If you oppose the policy, you can chime in on the WikiProject page. It is useless to have the same debate on each talk page. --DropDeadGorgias (talk) 18:20, July 19, 2005 (UTC)

Merging would be absolutely inappropriate. The character, like the other ultimate characters, is extremely different form his counterpart. Putting them together would cause a grat deal of confusion. Merging ALL the ultimate articles would be ridiculous, and inefficient. Go take a look at The Ultimate Spider-man article and the main Spider-man article, and you'll note that the characters need their own pages for discussion.
