The hybrid elm Ulmus × arbuscula E. Wolf was derived from a crossing of U. pumila with U. scabra (: glabra) in St. Petersburg, Russia. Specimens are held by the National Botanic Garden of Latvia at Salaspils, introduced in 1964, but no description is available.
