As of 1991 Bangladesh census^GRBangladeh, Ulipur has a population of 345205. Males constitute are 50% of the population, and females 50%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 153939. Ulipur has an average literacy rate of 23.9% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate. ^[1]
