Just a small note:
I always thought that Ukyo was a representation of Okita Soji, with his Sandandzuki (Three point thrust) and his tuberculosis. It makes more sense that way.
-Well, it does make sense seeing the two share a common attack and have the same disease, but Ukyo's sweeping, flowing sword strikes, calm, aristocratic nature, and being quite fawned over by women is almost identical to the depiction of Sasaki Kojiro in Murakami Genzo's novel Kojiro.
isn't that a bad image to use? That's, like, his 'player 2' version. Ukyo's distinctive features are his sapphire-blue hair and matching hakama.
