Ukita Okiie

Ukita Okiie (????-1536) a retainer of the Japanese of Urakami during the Sengoku Period of the 16th century. Okiie was the son of Ukita Yoshiie and succeeded his father following the year of 1524. While Okiie served under the Urakami, he was ranked as the Lord of Toishi Castle in Bizen Province, in which he was at the time a Daimyo. According to the Bizen Gunki, it is known that Okiie was not the most competent of leaders and accomplished very little throughout his tenure as a daimyo.
