UK Theatre Network is an online magazine available around the world covering all areas of the entertainment industry but primarily theatre. It contains news, reviews, previews and interviews which visitors can read, listen or watch.

There are also opportunities for those looking to enter the industry and a significant support network and contacts for those wishing to advance their career.

[edit] Early History

The UK Theatre Network was conceived in January 2001, in Jersey, The Channel Islands, by actor and webmaster Douglas McFarlane. Douglas was on assignment for a major bank when he was trying to find a way to promote theatre to wider audiences using the Internet. He combined his skills in web development with a passion for theatre and the result was the UK Theatre Network.
