Uemura Masakatsu

Uemura Masakatsu (植村正勝?) (1535-1592) Uemura Masakatsu, a servant under the Tokugawa even since his very infancy.
During the year of 1565, he sided with the rioting monto of Mikawa. It is known that around the time of the Odawara Campaign, Masakatsu lost his hands due to his great dislike of Toyotomi Hideyoshi. Around the year of 1599 and in 1608 Masakatsu's son, Uemura Iemasa became a commander of the ashigaru under the son of Tokugawa Ieyasu, Hidetada. His son also later on even becoming a Daimyo at Takatori.
