The UCI Contintental Circuits are road bicycle racing competitions contested under the auspices of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI). The five circuits (one each representing Europe, Africa, Oceania, Asia, and the Americas) comprise a series of races in which, as in the UCI ProTour, to which the circuits are inferior, various cycling teams compete regularly. The circuits were designed by UCI to export cycle racing beyond the European continent, where it is most popular and where the three Grand Tour stage races are held.
