UCF Convocation Center is a 10,000-seat multi-purpose arena in Orlando, Florida that is currently under construction as part of the Wayne Densch Sports Complex. The new arena will have 7,479 fixed standard seats, 500 club seats, 1,328 retractable seats, 188 disabled seats, 16 luxury suites (seating capacity 192, total capacity 256), two party suites (total capacity 60) and loge box seating for 64. It is expected to be completed during the Fall of 2007, in time for the 2007-08 NCAA Basketball season. Both the Men's and Women's Basketball teams will play in the facility.
The existing UCF Arena will remain standing, and will be renovated into a 2,500-seat facility for volleyball and other minor indoor sports, and as a practice facility for both the UCF Men's and Women's Basketball team.
The Convocation Center will be operated by Global Spectrum, a division of Comcast-Spectacor. Rumors have surfaced that AirTran Airways already owns the naming rights to the facility.
